Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is coming under fire from those in her own party following her controversial remarks about Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.).

A Clinton interview with The Hollywood Reporter came out on Tuesday, which revealed some controversial remarks made by the former secretary of state in an upcoming documentary, “Hillary.”

“He was in Congress for years. He had one senator support him,” Clinton said about Sanders, adding, “Nobody likes him, nobody wants to work with him, he got nothing done. He was a career politician. It’s all just baloney and I feel so bad that people got sucked into it.”

Asked if her comments “still holds,” Clinton told The Hollywood Reporter, “Yes, it does.”

Among the 2020 Democratic presidential hopefuls who responded to Clinton’s remarks includes Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii), who told WMUR-TV, “It’s time to grow up, you know? This isn’t high school.”

She continued, “We’re talking about real challenges that our country needs to address and the need for real leadership to focus on them — not on what’s going on in Washington and the schoolyard cliques or whatever else it may be.”

Additionally, 2020 Democratic contender Andrew Yang chimed in, as he told CBS News that her comments are “probably not helpful” for the Democratic field because it appears, as he says, that she is “trying to rehash or relitigate 2016.”

“For her to come back and, you know, say that nobody likes Bernie does not seem like a very helpful message,” Yang added.

Sanders also offered his own response to Clinton, as he told reporters on Tuesday, “On a good day, my wife likes me.” He added that the former secretary of state is “entitled to her point of view.”

Asked why Clinton is still talking about the 2016 presidential election, Sanders responded, “That is a good question. Ask her.”

President Donald Trump also came to the defense of Sanders, as he said told Fox Business Network while in Davos, Switzerland, “When Hillary says nobody likes him, nobody likes her. That’s why she lost, nobody liked her.”

“She’s the one that people don’t like,” Trump continued, adding, “If I had my choice in terms of personality, I might take him over her. But I probably would take neither.”

However, Clinton later tried to make it clear that she would support any Democratic nominee in the 2020 presidential election.

She tweeted late Tuesday, “I thought everyone wanted my authentic, unvarnished views!”

Clinton added, “But to be serious, the number one priority for our country and world is retiring Trump, and, as I always have, I will do whatever I can to support our nominee.”
